Greening Youth Foundation
As an organization, Greening Youth Foundation's (GYF) mission is to engage under-represented youth and young adults while connecting them to outdoor and conservation careers. GYF is partnering with Growald to focus on recruitment, placement, and training fellows to work at international partner sites. Potential program participants will be selected from Historically Black Colleges and Universities across various disciplines and careers related to the advancement of sustainability and environmental justice.
This partnership will increase diversity in environmental organizations and increase the number of recent graduates with international experiences. As the leading and longest-running youth-serving organization in the United States focused on natural resource management careers for diverse, underserved, and underrepresented young adults, GYF brings expertise in developing and strengthening young adults transitioning from universities into the workforce while building host organizations' capacity, ensuring that this program is symbiotic for both parties.
