Anthropocene Fixed Income Institute

Fixed income markets outsize equity markets, especially as a source of fresh capital for fossil industries and stranded assets. The Anthropocene Fixed income Institute (AFII) conducts research into these linkages, executes advocacy against bond market climate transgressions, and works with education and outreach to make the broader community understand the importance of fixed income for climate change mitigation. The AFII also seeks to develop creative ways for fixed income to play a positive role, through deepening of the green bond market and further developments of green financing concepts. Being driven by the belief that climate commitments must in the end be reflected in the buy and sell decisions of traders, portfolio managers and allocators, the AFII mainly engages market professionals to ensure that relevance.
